This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly measured 4.4 NM in length and 1.02 NM in width. Winds were 10 kts out of the SE. Confidence that the anomaly seen was oil is Medium-High. The anomaly maybe related to the Breton Sound Tank Battery 53 hotline. The anomaly had well defined edges with sharp turns. It exhibted feathering and had relatively high contrast with the surrounding area. UNCERTAINTIES: A point source for the anomaly could not be identified. It was also located close to shore.
