REMARKS:
Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly appeared to emanate from the 1487 wreckage site and extends W and NW for 1.05NM with a maximum width of 0.05NM. The area of possible oil appeared bright silver against the ocean background and was indicative of oil in sunglint conditions. Wind data during the time of this image was out of the SE and aligned well with the orientation of the anomaly. Confidence was determined to be high given that the 1487 wreckage site is known as a repeat leak source.

UNCERTAINTIES:
There was a high amount of biogenic matter in the general location of this anomaly and appeared to mix in with the anomaly.
