REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The anomaly in question was separated into two segments about 6.1nm away from eachother. The southern segment was approximately 2.1nm in length, the northern segment was approximately 4.1nm. Both had a width of about 1.0nm at its widest point. The anomalies had strong contrast and defined edges but a point source could not be determined. The winds were SE at 10kts at the time of the satellite imagery. 

UNCERTAINTIES: Due to the lack of a recent NRC report and false positives associated with the near shore environment, our confidence level was kept at Medium-High. There may have been a vessel in the area but it could not be deemed responsible from satellite imagery.
