REMARKS: Possible oil was observed in satellite imagery. This anomaly is unconfirmed as oil. The possible oil was located in the Main Pass Area of Louisiana and contained multiple segments. The longest one measured approximately 2.15 nmi in length and up to 0.08 nmi in width. The widest one measured approximately 1.13 nmi in length and up to 0.42 nmi in width. The slick appeared dark and stood out well against the background. Winds at the time of image were from the SW at 5-10 knots, aligning well with the orientation of the slick. Confidence was determined to be Medium-High given that no specific point source could be identified, and no oil slicks were reported in the area.
