The AVHRR Instrument on NOAA-16 continues to degrade by showing
increased bar code patterns in the imagery. This increased has been
noticed over the past 2 days and users are cautioned on the use of the
data. We will continue to monitor the data and if any further
announcements are deemed necessary the user community will be notified.
