*On Friday 28 July 2006 the AMSU-B instrument on NOAA-16 channel 18 began gross filtering the data. This was presented to the attention of the monitoring crew on Tuesday 1 August 2006 (no weekend crew available). Corrections were made to adjust the lower limit and the gross filtering disappeared on 2 August 2006 at approx.21:10 UTC. The first orbits to be processed are listed below.
