Details/Specifics of Change: On December 11, 2007, Information Processing Division personnel discovered that gross filtering was occurring during level-1b processing of NOAA-16 AMSU-A Channel 8 blackbody view data. After consulting the instrument scientist, to correct this problem the lower gross filtering limit was adjusted from 15400 to 14000 around 2100 UTC to accept all data. The update was effective with the following orbits.
