On July 21 at 1330 Local (1730 UTC), NOAA will hold a "POES Constellation Meeting". At this meeting, we will discuss satellite data processing support needed and make recommendations for the continuation or discontinuation of product support to integrate the new satellite into operations. The agenda is provided below. So that your needs are considered, we are asking that you reply to this email with information on your requirements for POES data support once NOAA-18 is declared the operational afternoon satellite. What are your requirements for standy/backup satellite data? What data is critical to your mission support? Please provide this information by July 15.
