On 31 March 2010, NOAA implemented the Sudden Jump Algorithm for all the AMSU-B and MHS L1B processing. As a reminder, NOAA did the same task for all the AMSU-A L1B processing on 5 May 2009 (see the related notice at http://www.osdpd.noaa.gov/data/ppp/notice_files/may0609.html). As a result, all the microwave L1B data are and will be processed with the Sudden Jump Algorithm.
