*Details/Specifics of Change:*

The following update of the calibration coefficients are recommended for:

NOAA-16 AVHRR

Ch_1_lo = 0.05442*count - 2.098, count<498.96
Ch_1_hi = 0.1588*count - 53.98, count>498.96

Ch_2_lo = 0.05870*count - 2.217, count<500.16
Ch_2_hi = 0.1729*count - 59.35, count>500.16

NOAA-17 AVHRR

Ch_1_lo = 0.05512*count - 2.206, count<501.12
Ch_1_hi = 0.1618*count - 55.68, count>501.12

Ch_2_lo = 0.06636*count - 2.606, count<500.73
Ch_2_hi = 0.1975*count - 68.40, count>500.73

Ch_3_lo = 0.03190*count - 1.345, count<501.37
Ch_3_hi = 0.2236*count - 97.63, count>501.37

NOAA-18 AVHRR

Ch_1_lo = 0.05189*count - 2.046, count<500.54
Ch_1_hi = 0.1547*count - 53.21, count>500.54

Ch_2_lo = 0.05862*count - 2.310, count<500.40
Ch_2_hi = 0.1759*count - 61.29, count>500.40

on May 9. These coefficients are intended to be optimal on May 27, in the middle of the two scheduled updates.

The AVHRR Visible Calibration Coefficients updates to the CPIDS for NOAA-16, 17 and 18 was put into NOAA operations 1615 UTC. . The first orbits to be processed are listed below.
