Details/Specifics of Change:
The parallel test data for the AFEP is available for user verification and
feedback. We have set a cut off date of 19 November for user response on
this test data. Again, this data is processed by the AFEP which will be the
new operational processor for 1b data shortly after 19 November 2004. We are
providing parallel 1b data sets for user evaluation. These datasets can be
located at:
ftp://metroweb.nesdis.noaa.gov/pub under the filename afeptest. Again we
would like to have any comments by 19 November 2004.
This data is intended to verify the AFEP's processing of 1b datasets
(current 1b datasets). Not to be used for comparisons with the new upcoming
NOAA-N data format.
