Metop-A MHS experienced an
anomaly starting on 21
March 2018 (18/080) at ~0240Z.EUMETSAT
has
investigated and confirmed the MHS was in fault mode. The MHS was successfully
commanded back to
scan mode on March 21, 2018 at ~1500Z. The instrument is currently
nominal. It is believed the MHS entered fault mode
due to a single
event upset, however investigation is still ongoing.
