of Change:Maryland1GEO
Ground Station in Suitland, MD stopped sending 406 MHz alert
data on March 28, 2018 at 0004Z. The LUT Vendor found that
Windows failed to start on the Signal Processor (SP) server
when the USMCC controller sent a cold reboot command. The
SP server was power cycled via the Integrated Lights Out
remote server and Maryland 1 returned to Normal Operation at
0050Z.
Impact:Minor-There is no impact on distress alert detection/reporting timeliness due to the redundancy of the SARSAT GEOLUT system.
