^MDetails/Specifics of Change:
^MOn Friday, April 27, 2018 at 1918Z the GOES-16 routine weekly upload of Earth Orientation Parameter Predictions (EOPP) will be modified to correct for a processing discrepancy onboard the spacecraft. Imagery acquired during this time (Full Disk, CONUS, and MESOs) will be affected in the following way:
^MM-B
^MThere will be a slight change in navigation (<10 microradians or 400 meters) in the EW direction within 2 minutes of the upload. After verifying successful EOPP upload to GOES-16, the ABI lookup table (LUT) changes necessary to remove the EW bias from the ground processing will occur. By the start of the GOES-16 ABI Mode 3 timeline at 1930Z both the spacecraft and ground processing should be synchronized for proper ABI image navigation.

^MIf there is a Critical Weather Day declared on Friday then the GOES-16 modified EOPP load will be postponed.
