Product(s) or Data Impacted: All products from AMSU-A, ASCAT, ATOVS, GOME-2, GRAS, IASI, MHS, SEM in the Metop Global Data Service and Regional Data Service, were not available. The AVHRR GDS Level 1 products and AVHRR regional data from Metop-A will be temporarily degraded.

Date/Time of Expected End: February 27, 2018 (JDAY 58) 1334Z

Length of Outage: ~ 1.5 hours

Details and Specifics of Change: A Metop-A Risk Mitigation was performed on February 27, 2018 to avoid a possible conjunction with Cosmos 1275 Debris (17620).

The SEM instrument will be placed into Maneuver Mode at 1152Z on February 27, 2018 and returned back to its Normal Operating Mode at 1334Z that same day.

Data from the outage period will not be recovered nor distributed.
