Details/Specifics of Change: The ESPC Critical Infrastructure Protection
(CIP) site has been Activated early to avoid ramp up time for
the products to reach optimum capability and to meet the
Quarterly requirement to verify ESPC/CIP
capabilities/functionality and preparation for the Failover on
May 8, 2018. During this CIP MPLS Failover, our goal is for all
users to test their connections within the scheduled time of the

MPLS will begin on May 8th or 9th, 2018, 1200Z (Pending Critical
Weather Issued)
Priority 1 Products will meet their optimum capability 24 hours
after activation.
Priority 2 Products will meet their optimum capability 48 hours
after activation.
CIP MPLS Failover Testing will occur on May 8th or 9th, 2018 1200Z (Pending
Critical Weather Issued)
The ESPC/CIP, in Wallops Island, will remain activated until May
(day - TBA), 2018, 1800Z , at which time the CIP will be
deactivated.
