Change:Maryland1GEO
Ground Station in Suitland, MD stopped sending 406 MHz alert
data at 0444Z. The LUT Vendor found that Maryland 1 accepted a
cold reboot command, but did not process due to a communication
issue. Maryland 1 was manually
restarted and returned to Normal Operation at 0558Z. All
missing alert data was recovered.
Impact:Minor-There is no impact on distress alert detection/reporting timeliness due to the redundancy of the SARSAT GEOLUT system.
