Eastern Region until 12Z Sunday, September 16th due to Hurricane
Florence and associated impacts to the Carolina and southeast
Virginia coasts this weekend.

Reason: Eastern Region is included due to
Hurricane Watches issued along the Mid-Atlantic in advance of
Correction: CWD remains in effect for Pacific
Region through September 14, 2018 0000Z
Update #2: Central Region will drop out of the CWD effective
CWD remains in effect for Pacific Region through 14/00Z
Update #1: Critical day has been extended adding
Pacific Region from 21Z Fri Sep 07 2018 until 00Z Fri Sep 14 2018.
- NCEP, NWSTG, and NCF are included in both CWDs
REASON: Central Region is included due to flash flooding and
river flooding from the remnants of Gordon. Pacific Region is
included due to a double tropical cyclone threat: 1) Mangkhut
expected to impact Guam and the Northern Marianas Islands, and 2)
Olivia which is forecast to affect Hawaii.
