WPC and Eastern Region it has been determined that CWD will end as
scheduled. CWD has ended as of 1200Z.
Update #6: CWD has been extended for Eastern
Region until 12Z Monday September 17th due to Tropical Storm
Florence and associated heavy rainfall threat over the Carolinas
and southern Appalachians.
Update #5: CWD for Pacific Region has now ended. CWD
remains for Eastern Region until 12Z Sunday, September 16th due to
Hurricane Florence and associated impacts to the Carolina and
southeast Virginia coasts this weekend.

REASON: Central Region is included due to flash flooding and
river flooding from the remnants of Gordon. Pacific Region is
included due to a double tropical cyclone threat: 1) Mangkhut
expected to impact Guam and the Northern Marianas Islands, and 2)
Olivia which is forecast to affect Hawaii.
