Details/Specifics of Change:It was determined that the S13 SARP failed around 0752Z on 16 November.
The USMCC notified the French MCC (FMCC) of the issue at 1444Z.
The FMCC notified all MCCs that a SARP reset has been requested from EUMETSAT at 1450Z.
The USMCC placed a filter on S13 SARP
data and recommended that all MCCs do the same at 1504Z.
The USMCC is waiting for confirmation of a SARP reset and new time calibration data to be provided by the FMCC.
Impact:Medium-Loss of Storage/forward
capability. Satellite is limited to real-time/local distress
detection and relay. Timeliness of global coverage detection
and relay affected.
