GOES-17 ABI will execute two consecutive days of mode 6 operations from 28 January 1300 UTC until 30 January 1300 UTC. Users shall not request Flex Mode (mode 3) or Continuous Full Disk Mode (mode 4) for GOES-17 during this period. Mode 6 operations is a Full Disk every 10 minutes, CONUS every 5 minutes, and 2 meso domains every minute (or 1 domain every 30 seconds). Users may request GEOES-17 MESO domain changes as desired.

GOES-17 will return to Flex Mode (mode 3) on 30 January at 1300 UTC.

GOES-17 is not operational, therefore this activity will not be cancelled due to critical weather day declaration.
