Details/Specifics of Change:

The GOES-16 (GOES-East) and GOES-17 (GOES-West) Advanced Baseline Imagers (ABI) have permanently replaced Flex Mode (mode 3) operations with 10-minute Flex Mode (mode 6) operations as of 1600 UTC on April 2, 2019. Continuous Full Disk Mode (mode 4) will continue to be a secondary operational mode.
