Install NDE release 2.0.16


This installation is planned to be done during back orbits. NDE will not be ingesting, processing or distributing data during installation.M-B No data loss expected, but there will be a possible backlog of processing when installation is complete.


Algorithm changes are as follows:


ACSPO SST

ACSPO SST products will be undergoing lookup table changes for both NPP and NOAA-20 and corresponding configuration file changes. ACSPO NetCDF L2P and L3U GHRSST files will have a version number change from v2.60 to v2.61. File contents will not change.M-B SST biases should be lowered in polar regions.

With this implementation and update, the SR shortname will remain the same: SR_VIIRS_EDR

For NPP products files names will change from SurfRefl_v1r0_npp_*.nc to SurfRefl_v1r1_npp_*.nc M-B

For NOAA-20 the file names will be SurfRefl_v1r1_j01_*.nc


NOAA-20 M-BNighttime Cloud Optical and Microphysical Properties (NCOMP)

NOAA-20 VIIRS NCOMP will be operational pending provisional maturity review on March 21, 2019.


DMW and VPW in new BUFR template
