Update #1: The storage maintenance planned for tomorrow April 17, 2019 has been CANCELLED due to a Critical Weather declaration beginning 1200Z the same day. This activity has been tentatively rescheduled for Thursday April 25, 2019 for the same start and end times, and the same details as outlined below. Reminder email will be distributed next week confirming the date, time, and specifics of the activity.

Topic: ESPDS PDA/NDE Maintenance at the NSOF site WILL cause a COMPLETE outage for an estimated 5 hours.

Length of Event: 5 hours

Details/Specifics of Change: The PDA/NDE environment at NSOF will be undergoing critical storage maintenance. During this activity there will be a complete outage of service for an estimated five hours. The outage window of five hours includes one hour prior to the storage maintenance for CLASS, NDE and GOES-R to quiet PDA facing systems and one hour after the storage maintenance for NDE, CLASS, and GOES-R to bring their PDA facing systems back online. This maintenance will be rescheduled if Critical Weather is in effect. If Critical Weather goes into effect during the maintenance, the maintenance will continue until complete. For the groups that send products TO PDA, it is important that PDA receive as much of the missed products as possible.
