Metop-B SEM TED proton bias voltage will be increased to level 5. This periodic change in the bias voltage is part of the normal operations of SEM and is not an indication of any problems. As the detectors age, it is important to increase the bias voltage to compensate for reduced sensitivity. This increase will improve the performance of the SEM TED sensors.
