SUVI L1b

SUVI Image Serial Numbers

SUVI Image Serial numbers will be included in the L1b metadata.

no

yes

SUVI L1b

SUVI bad pixel table oriented incorrectly

Bad Pixel table will now be oriented correctly

no

no

SUVI L1b

SUVI Scale and Offset need to be dynamic

SUVI Scale and Offsets will now be dynamically calculated rather than statically configured

no

yes

EXIS, SEISS, MAG, SUVI

Revise algorithm_container attributes

Metadata updated to indicate this field is not in use.

no

yes

MAG L1b

MAG Arc Jet Correction

Applies a correction to compensate for arcjet firing effects.

no

yes

SUVI L1b

SUVI Remove automated contamination correction

SUVI automated correction was based on EXIS L1b daily averages. It is being removed.

no

yes

MAG L1b

Update Mag Shadow Flag Alg to Rev A

Implements an improved version of the algorithm reducing the false shadow indication window.

no

yes

SUVI L1b

SUVI yaw flip treated as 2-value instead of 3-value

Fix to the SUVI yaw flip flag to make it a 3 value flag instead of 2.

no

no

SUVI L1b

Update SUVI L1b to CDRL 80 Rev J

Contains 10 SUVI L1b algorithm updates.

no

EXIS EUVS

EUVS Case Numbers Set Incorrectly

Fixes bugs that were preventing the EUVSCase Numbers to be set correctly.

no

no

EXIS EUVS

EUVS C Dark Mask Discrepancy

The EUVS-C variable called INTEGRATEDSIGNALSEUVSC_DARKMASK does not have the correct value. The discrepancy in this variable results in discrepancies in the other EUVS-C variables: lines, wings and Mg II index.

no

no

EXIS EUVS

EUVS negative currents

Remove the lines setting negative corrected currents to zero.

no

no

EXIS EUVS

EUVS time-dependent dark count correction

Adds a time dependent term to the dark counts equation.

no

no

SUVI L1b

SUVI Images Are Not Adequately Despiked

Exposure to energetic particles in orbit causes spurious bright pixels throughout the image. Analysis shows up to 2% of radiance in some images is the result of these spurious signals. This could significantly worsen in the case of a Solar Energetic Particle Event. A despiking algorithm is being deployed to deal with this contamination.

no

yes

EXIS XRS

XRS packet count

Update to the XRS packet count variable setting max range to 16383 and update to the long name.

no

yes

EXIS EUVS

EUVS Producing CaseNumber 0 With Bad Data

Changes the "missing data" error case number from 0 to 8.

no

no

EXIS EUVS

Update OMAS for EUVS 256 line

Updates the wavelength ranges for EUVS 256 nm line for both FM1 and FM2
