Details/Specifics of Change:

^M GOES-17 (GOES-West) ABI will be placed in Mode 4 for four hours in order for the GOES ground system to conduct data flow tests. Mode 4 provides continuous 5 minute full disk imagery. At the conclusion of the tests, GOES-17 ABI will return to nominal Mode 6 operations including the ability to receive mesoscale domain sector requests. INR and radiometric calibration will be maintained throughout the data outage.M-BM-B

AWIPS distribution will include 5 minute SCMI (Sectorized Cloud and Moisture Imagery) for Full Disk and three sectors subsetted from Full Disk: CONUS, Alaska, and Hawaii sectors.

^M PDA distribution will include 5 minute L1b Radiances and Level 2 products for Full Disk and a subsetted CONUS.

This test activity is specific to ABI.M-B All other GOES-17 spacecraft and instrument (EXIS, GLM, Magnetometer, SEISS, SUVI) activities will remain nominal for the duration of these tests.M-B These test activities are subject to cancelation or delay in the event of Critical Weather Day (CWD) declarations.M-BM-B
