Details/Specifics of Change:M-B The
MODIS gateway server crashed at approximately 1800Z on January
29th.M-BM-B A replacement server was brought on-line, but
configuration and porting of required services took several
hours.M-B Restoration of data processing was completed at 0200Z on
January 30th.M-B NASA is sending all available back-logged data
which will be processed as time permits, with newest data taking
priority.
Due to security policy changes, the new server does not support
FTP access.M-B Any remaining customers still pulling AIRS or MODIS
data from R10GW will need to transition to the Product
Distribution and Access (PDA) system (contact at NESDIS.Data.Access@noaa.gov).
