On the 5th of February Metop-C will start a slowdown Drift maneuver to achieve its final orbital position on the 19th of February (half orbit from Metop-B).M-B During this period, Metop-C will not be following the reference orbit due to the drifting ground track and phasing with respect to Metop-B.M-B Some instrument products may be degraded.M-B A small impact on the number and quality of AVHRR wind products might be observed during this period.M-B
The SEM instrument will be placed into Maneuver Mode at 0828 on Feb 5, 2020 and returned back to its Normal Operating Mode at 1416 that same day.
The GOME instrument timeline ends at 1149 UTC and mirror parked before the burn on Feb 5, 2020.M-B The GOME timeline is reactivated at 1331 UTC that same day.
Data
from the outage period will not be recovered nor distributed.M-B
