Topic:  Activation of Modified Global Mosaic of Geostationary Satellite Imagery (GMGSI) Products

Details/Specifics of Change:  To improve compatibility with NWS AWIPS display, a modified version of the GMGSI product suite will be activated on June 10 at 1500 UTC on the PDA (netCDF4 format) and GEODIST (McIDAS area file format).  A minor change was made to geolocation settings (i.e., negligible effect on gap at the International Date Line) and should be transparent for all users of the products.  The GMGSI products affected and associated file names are:
