All products from AMSU-A, ASCAT, ATOVS, GRAS, IASI, MHS, AVHRR in the Metop Global Data Service and Regional Data Service were temporarily degraded.  GOME-2 and SEM products were not available.

Details/Specifics of Change:       

A Metop-A Collision Avoidance In-Plane Maneuver was performed Dec 17, 2020, preheating beginning at 11:46 UTC with the maneuver ending at 13:17 UTC that same day.

This maneuver was to avoid collision with Fengyun 1C debris (object number 30141)

The SEM instrument was placed into Maneuver Mode at 10:08 UTC on Dec 17, 2020 and returned back to its Normal Operating Mode at 15:13 UTC that same day.

The GOME instrument timeline ends and mirror parked before the burn at 12:21 UTC on Dec 17, 2020.  The GOME timeline was reactivated at 14:11 UTC that same day.

Data from the outage period will not be recovered nor distributed.
