Details/Specifics of Change:M-BThe USMCC suffered a message processing anomaly at 1700Z and was unable to deliver SARSAT alert messages to SAR authorities. At 1759Z, the USMCC activated the Canadian and Australian Mission Control Centers to provide backup support. The USMCC Analyst and IT Staff identified and removed an input message that was causing the message processing failure, and the USMCC returned to normal operations at 1848Z.M-BM-B


Impact:M-BSignificant -M-BDistress alert detection/reporting capability was lost.
