Details/Specifics of Change:M-BThe USMCC noticed that not all alert messages were not being delivered normally around 1700Z.M-B The USMCC started troubleshooting the issue with some messages going out successfully.M-B Our initial recovery efforts were not fully successful and at 1759Z, the USMCC contacted the Canadian (CMCC) and Australian Mission Control Centers (AUMCC) and requested backup support.M-B The AUMCC and CMCC delivered alert data to the USMCC's Service area.M-B The USMCC Analyst and IT Staff identified and removed an input message that was causing the message processing failure, and the USMCC returned to normal operations at 1848Z. At this time we requested CMCC and AUMCC to stop the backup of the USMCC.

Impact:M-BSignificant -M-BDistress alert detection/reporting capability of the USMCC was assumed by the USMCC's backups Canada and Australia.M-B All distress alerts were distributed.
