On the 19th of February, Metop-C will end its slowdown Drift maneuver of 02/05/2020 to achieve its
final orbital position (half orbit from Metop-B). During that period, Metop-C was not following the
reference orbit due to the drifting ground track and phasing with respect to Metop-B. Some instrument
products may be degraded. A small impact on the number and quality of AVHRR wind products might
be observed during this period.
The SEM instrument will be placed into Maneuver Mode at 0838 on Feb 19, 2020 and returned back to
its Normal Operating Mode at 1425 that same day.
The GOME instrument timeline ends at 1157 UTC and mirror parked before the burn on Feb 19, 2020.
The GOME timeline is reactivated at 1340 UTC that same day.
Data from the outage period will not be recovered nor distributed.M-B
