Update #1 - The NSOF B circuit failed so the USMCC moved all traffic to the A circuit. Florida and Hawaii MEOLUT data is flowing normally.  However, the bandwidth usage caused traffic delays so we implemented several workarounds to reduce bandwidth usage temporarily while the B circuit is down.   The Verizon technician requires physical access to the NSOF equipment to work on the B circuit.The USMCC has provided Verizon with OSPS’s Covid-19 requirements to access the NSOF building; Verizon has not yet provided an ETA.

Details/Specifics of Change:  The SARSAT Florida and Hawaii Medium Earth Orbit (MEO) Ground Stations are not sending data to the USMCC. The communications vendor and SARSAT analysts are working to identify and resolve the problem.

Impact:  Significant - Western Pacific, Atlantic, and Caribbean Search and Rescue region's MEOSAR distress detection/reporting is delayed. LEOSAR and GEOSAR are nominal.
