• Outlook email (McMurdo delivery only)

• MAXIMO application

• PIPELINE application

• Skype chat service to/from off-continent users

• Wireless Networks (local communication)

• Local DDC network and systems

• McMurdo Intranet including e-foot plan and webmail pages

• Network drive mapping during login

• Network drives located on the file server including

• Department drives (J: or W: drives)

• Common drive (I: drive)

• Home shares (H: drives)

• Spark chat service (using the McMurdo server)

• Flight & weather information on Public Area Displays and        Television Channel 3 and 7.

There will be a 2 day break. 22 December is a backup window and will not be used if not needed.

Length of Outage:   8 Days

 

Details/Specifics of Change:    Between December 15 and December 18 and December 21 and December 22, 2020 technicians at Black Island will perform maintenance activities that require service outages to McMurdo’s off-continent communications link. Service outages will occur overnight for a series of six maintenance windows over an eight day period listed below:
