Update #2: The maintenance related anomaly affecting GOES data has been resolved and service has been restored at ~1615Z.


Update #1: The PDA/NDE maintenance at NSOF OPS is experiencing an outage affecting all GOES data. The outage began at ~1530z. Another update will be issued when service is restored.    


Topic:  Planned PDA/NDE maintenance activities at the NSOF OPS site may cause connectivity and/or processing Interruptions.

Product(s) or Data Impacted: All or some products being Ingested and/or Disseminated from the NSOF OPS site may be affected.

 

Date/Time of Initial Impact:  March 16, 2021 1400Z

 

Date/Time of Expected End:  March 16, 2021 2100Z

 

Length of Event:  7 hours

 

Details/Specifics of Change:  The NSOF OPS environment will have planned maintenance activities during the impact window above. We may experience short interruptions to service of 5 to 15 minutes. If an unexpected outage does occur, some or all products being Ingested and/or Disseminated from the NSOF OPS site may be affected.

 

These delays may result in hung connections that need to be reset and/or restarted.

 

The PDA Support team will be monitoring the environment to quickly act on and remediate anomalies that occur.
