Details/Specifics of Change:  During NPP rev. 50214 a CrIS SEU caused the Scene Selection Mode (SSM) to go to a safe mode. Engineering has worked with operations to restore the instrument and the SSM is now in a nominal state. S-NPP CrIS Science data during this outage time will not be recoverable. .
