Details/Specifics of Change:

A GOES-15 (GOES-West Back-up) Thruster Flush maneuver will be performed on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 2040 UTC.  If cancelled, the Thruster Flush will be rescheduled for a later date.  If NWS Regions have any operational concerns, please contact the NCEP SDM at (301) 683-1500 at least 6 hours prior to the maneuver time.

On September 15, 2021 the following schedule will be employed to support maneuver operations for GOES-15 (GOES-West Back-up):

2040 UTC: GOES-15 (GOES-West Back-up) Thruster Flush Maneuver Schedule begins

2040 UTC - 2059 UTC: GOES-15 (GOES-West Back-up) No Scan Operations.  (THERE WILL BE NO IMAGER IMPACT due to the maneuver operations being performed during daily Housekeeping period.)

2100 UTC: GOES-15 (GOES-West Back-up) Routine Scan Operations Resume

There will be no recovery schedule for this maneuver.
