Details/Specifics of Change: On April 29th, 2021 at 16:46:00z, S-NPP will perform a 1.5 second propulsive Drag Makeup Maneuver (DMU) to maintain Sun Synchronous, Mean Local Time of Ascending Node (MLTAN) at 13:30 ±10 min.

 

The following observatory systems will be affected on April 29, 2021:

 

16:20:00Z – 18:27:04Z CERES in Contam-Safe mode, science data will not be available

16:30:00Z – 16:57:06Z OMPS in Decon mode, Science data will not be available

16:35:00Z – 16:58:05Z HRD will be off, data for direct broadcast users will be unavailable.

 

16:40:00Z – NPP Slew Maneuver to 0 Deg

16:46:00.5Z – 16:46:01Z Maneuver Start/Stop

16:53:04Z – Slew Back to Nadir Attitude

16:40:00Z- 16:57:06z - ATMS data may be perturbed due to maneuver-induced spacecraft vibrations
