Update #2: Initial efforts to troubleshoot the Long Wave segment of the S-NPP CrIS instrument have not been successful. Due to this state, CrIS-SCIENCE-SDR for S-NPP will be unavailable indefinitely until a path forward has been discussed with the right parties. The prime CrIS instrument on the NOAA-20 spacecraft will continue to provide all CrIS data needs.

Update #1:  The initial impact time for CRIS Instrument anomaly is1542z. The CRIS anomaly is still ongoing and being investigated.
