Details/Specifics of Change: OSPO generated Himawari-8 SST products have been available on PDA for 4 months (please refer to the April 30 ESPC notification in the link https://www.ospo.noaa.gov/Operations/messages.html ). We are now planning to stop receipt of the STAR produced H-8 SST products. Please complete your transition to the OSPO versions by Oct. 18, 2021.
Here are the PDA shortnames for the STAR products that will go away and the operational replacements:
ACSPO_GHRSST_AHI_L2P_STAR replaced by AHI-L2P-FLDK-SST
ACSPO_GHRSST_AHI_L3C_STAR replaced by AHI-L3C-FLDK-SST The Geo-Polar
In addition, Blended SST products will be updated by replacing STAR produced H-8 SST products (ACSPO version 2.7) by OSPO generated H-8 SST products by October 18th.
