Details/Specifics of Change:

A GOES-15 (GOES-West Backup) East/West Station Keeping Maneuver will be performed on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at 2229 UTC.  The backup date for this maneuver is Friday,  October 1, 2021. If NWS Regions have any operational concerns, please contact the NCEP SDM at (301) 683-1500 at least 6 hours prior to the maneuver time.

On September 28, 2021 the following schedule will be employed to support maneuver operations for GOES-15 (GOES-West Backup):

2224Z:  GOES-15 (GOES-West Backup) East/West Maneuver Schedule begins

2230Z - 2244Z:  GOES-15 (GOES-West Backup) Imager Product Outage

2245Z:  GOES-15 (GOES-West Backup) Routine Imager and Sounder Scan Operations Resume

There will be no recovery schedule for this maneuver.
