Details/Specifics of Change:


ESPC’s geodist servers, used to distribute McIDAS data, need to be shut down for emergency maintenance. They should be back in service within 30 minutes. This will affect both internal and external users, and also affects both the primary and backup servers.

Geodist1 – McIDAS Derived products (GHE, Arctic Composites)

Geodist4 – Polar satellite products

Geodist5 – Model data

Geodist6 – Meteosat data (prime and Indian Ocean), Global Mosaics

Geodist7 – Himawari data

 

We except that all data ingested to these machines will be lost between 1500-1700Z today; most, not necessarily all, will be recovered after 1700Z.
