 A friendly reminder that the on-prem Sentinel 1A SAR Winds will be retired on Nov. 10, 2022.

Details/Specifics of Change: We have implemented Sentinel 1A SAR Winds in the NCCF (NESDIS Common Cloud Framework) User Acceptance Testing (UAT) environment. The products are now available on PDA I&T and short names are listed below. We plan to transition the Sentinel 1A SAR Winds product generation into the NCCF Production (PROD) environment by August 30th, replacing the operational Sentinel 1A SAR Winds products with the NCCF Sentinel 1A SAR Winds products.


Note: Current Sentinel 1A SAR Winds products will be turned off on October 31, 2022 and replaced with the NCCF Sentinel 1A SAR Winds. Both versions will be distributed on the PDA from August 30, 2022 through October 31, 2022. The NCCF Sentinel SAR Winds products will be operationally distributed on the PDA for the first time starting on August 30, 2022.
