Final Update #2:  The maintenance Vendor replaced the GPS equipment and  FL3 and FL4 LEOLUTs  returned to normal operations.


Update #1:  The Verizon PIP circuit was restored September 23, 2022 at 1510Z. The FL MEOLUT returned to normal operations, but the FL3 and FL4 LEOLUTs are continuously power cycling. The maintenance vendor is investigating.

Details/Specifics of Change: The SARSAT Florida PIP circuit in Miami, FL is down. A trouble ticket has been opened with Verizon.


Impact: Significant - Atlantic and Caribbean Search and Rescue region's MEOSAR and LEOSAR distress detection/reporting is delayed. GEOSAR and Maryland LEOSAR are nominal.
