Details/Specifics of Change: 

The Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) will designate Himawari-9 as the operational satellite on December 13, 2022 replacing Himawari-8, which will transition into stand-by mode.  Himawari-9 imagery products are expected to be immediately available in operations on the NESDIS Common Cloud Framework (NCCF) and the PDA on December 13, 2022. The test Himawari-9 imagery products are available on PDA I&T now. Users can start subscribing to the data from PDA I&T. The table below lists the available product PDA short names and filenames.
