Details/Specifics of Change: Due to scheduled software maintenance on the GOES-R Ground System, GOES-17 GLM processing will undergo an image navigation and registration reset. Due to this, there will be a period of approximately 38 hours where GLM navigation will be degraded. Errors of up to 25 km are possible during this time.
This planned maintenance will be deferred if a critical weather day is scheduled.
