Satellites: NOAA-20
Subject: general-announcement
Detail: Due to a potential post-maneuver conjunction, NOAA-20 has postponed its Drag Makeup Maneuver (DMU). This will cause NOAA-20 to leave its nominal ground track box on December 29th 2021, crossing the eastern edge. This box is +/- 20 kilometers equatorial longitudinal offset from the reference ground track. The maximum distance reached outside the eastern edge of the box is expected to be about 10 kilometers. The re-planned Drag Makeup Maneuver (DMU) will be performed on January 13th, 2022 at 1628 UTC to correct the drift. The expected date to return to the nominal ground track box is February 1st, 2022. This may vary with the performance of the maneuver. Another notice will be sent when the return to the nominal ground track box is known. The exact times will be announced closer to the events. [Rev. 2] End/date time updated to match the new predicted re-entering time of the ground track box on 04 February 2022 at 03:32:56 UTC.
