Update # 4: Uploaded the required file to restore the instrument to a fully nominal state in the  NPP contact (SVL 54270 @13:38z). While all NPP CrIS products are now available, the CrIS Cal/Val Science Team is evaluating the quality of CrIS data. Users receiving NPP CrIS data should proceed with caution until product quality has been verified by the science team.

Update #3: CrIS instrument anomaly issue resolved by SE. CrIS is nominal and data is being received.

Update #2: While Engineering continues to troubleshoot, logistical issues have been encountered in retrieving a configuration file necessary to restore nominal science data from the instrument. Due to this state, all CrIS products for S-NPP will be unavailable until at least Monday, April 18, 2022. The prime CrIS instrument on the NOAA-20 spacecraft will continue to provide all CrIS data needs.
